Also: Wet Bevordering Speur- en Ontwikkelingswerk

The Netherlands' wage-based R&D tax credit administered via RVO.

WBSO (Wet Bevordering Speur- en Ontwikkelingswerk) reduces Dutch wage tax and national insurance contributions for employees performing approved R&D. Companies apply in advance to the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) for project approval and hour budgets. It is distinct from corporate income tax based R&D schemes in other countries. Confirm current hourly rates, ceilings, and application windows with RVO guidance.
