The UK's Research and Development Expenditure Credit.

The Research and Development Expenditure Credit is a UK above-the-line credit on qualifying R&D costs. Historically it applied primarily to large companies, while a separate SME relief existed. Under the UK merged R&D scheme era, RDEC-style mechanics apply more broadly, with Enhanced R&D Intensive Support (ERIS) available to certain loss-making R&D-intensive SMEs.
